THE MISSIOn

At CDM Performance Therapy, our mission is to help clients uncover the subtle imbalances, restrictions, and movement patterns that contribute to their injury and limit their performance. Through comprehensive, personalized assessments, we identify the root causes behind those limitations and create targeted plans that help you move, recover, and perform at your best. When injury occurs, we go beyond treating the what to uncover the why, leading to lasting results and preventing future re-injury.

WHAT TO EXPECT from CDM

Physical Therapy & Performance

A person lying on their side receiving physical therapy or massage, with another person assisting and supporting their leg and body.
A person sitting on grass near a running track, adjusting their socks and shoes, with a pair of sports shoes beside them.
A person receiving chiropractic or massage therapy, lying face down, with another person applying pressure to their back.

A comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and treatment plan. A doctorate-level physical therapist will conduct a full-body assessment to pinpoint the underlying causes of pain or movement dysfunction. Same-day treatment may involve joint mobilizations to improve mobility, soft tissue work to relieve tension, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), dry needling (coming 2026), neuromuscular techniques to restore proper movement patterns, and a pragmatic, yet effective, home program to ensure individualized care.

Subsequent visit(s): Hands-on treatment is a crucial component of physical therapy, especially for ensuring steady recovery and progress. Techniques like joint mobilizations, manual therapy, and soft tissue work help restore movement, reduce pain, and improve function. IASTM, cupping, and dry needling may be utilized as deemed appropriate. Continual reassessment allows your therapist to adapt treatments based on how your body responds, ensuring optimal progressions and preventing setbacks.
