Maddie Elwell grew up playing for the Ukrainian Nationals and then YMS, where the ‘98 Xplosion won Nationals in 2016. She was a four year starter and three year captain at Wissahickon highschool. Maddie went on to play at Vanderbilt University. She was a five year starter earning herself second team SEC three years in a row, along with 2020 All-Southeast Region second team. She had a team high of 11 assists in her 2020 season, and is tied third for assists in Vanderbilt program history. Maddie was drafted 15th overall in the 2021 NWSL draft to the Washington Spirit. She played two seasons with the Spirit before retiring in 2024. Maddie has a passion to help aspiring athletes reach their goals to develop and preform at the highest level possible.
